Scorpion Mother

I began with a thin wire and foil structure then covered it in plasticine.

I thought this would allow me to bring out more detail in the face but afterwards decided it would be better to use monster clay. This would allow me to focus on texture more.

Half way through the sculpt I thought it would be better if I added a stronger frame so used the metal workshop to bend piano wire for the long tail.
