Animating the Tiger

"Like with most of our takes we were able to do a test run - usually the previous day. Making the emperor bow became smoother after a practice run. After discussing how we want him to move, slow and smooth, bowing hands raised to chest with a smile. The main problem became animating the hands, having to remove the Plasticine as it wasn't dense enough to contain the wire within. Adding wax and re applying helped keep the fingers in their shape and articulate smoother motion"
