Easter experiments

During Easter term I returned to Somerset and decided to experiment with different types of material for characters hands. I started with black silicone and uses the negative mold putty to see if they would hold its shape. The feet were able to hold their shape for a while however detail was lost after some movement. This was worse when it came to the hands as they were unable to hold any shape.

To over come this I adopted a technique I had used before By coating the wire frame in hot glue and painting over it. This allowed me to add greater detail in paint and stronger movement.
