We were given many links to online tutorials as well as example to build on our work.

We worked on gradients first.

This would be good for backgrounds during animation. Keeping this in mind I looked at Japanese mountain prints that would fit our mountain range.

I loved the more ere mountains as they would display the sickness that falls over the king. I want to use this to enhance the horror element to our story.
