Creating the changed set fro a small back window to a large Japanese Shinto shrine was extremely interesting. I loved creating character through the set and building a world separate from the one around me, I thought it was be interesting to explore with a culture far different from my own.

I regret following the base measurement so thoroughly as I found it hard to get a good photograph of a set cut in half as well as being unable to create any interior designs however I loved the experience and would highly consider it a career path. My biggest draw back was the technical drawing as I prefer to work by eye and experimenting as I go. Too much planning and I find a lot of the sudden inspirations go unnoticed. Despite this it was a brilliant tool to have and a great base line for any problems faced during such production. I found when creating the sign the drawings came more naturally to me. It seems like something I will easily get use to with practice.

All in all I am pleased with the outcome of the set and wish I could advance on it more if time were available. I feel I have learnt many skills over these few units, enough to feel confident moving onto the animation project (unit 5). This has indeed been an eye opening creation and one I hope to explore further in the future.
