Today we presented our work to David Neet, 5 minuted each it was interesting to hear everyone’s ideas. To improve for next time I will be sure to frame the layout of my technical drawing better, ensuring enough room for the title and lettering. For my white model it was suggested that I continue the far wall to highlight that the scene continues. During our presentations I decided to change the character mood board. I was mistakenly under the impression that we needed an actor to focus on. Now that I know that is not he case I want to re-explore character design. When analyzing my choices I came to the conclusion that it would be hard to suggest the presents of someone so elegant and I wanted this scene to that of a Samurai. Sustaining my Japanese influence it would be a subtle nod to the acient art whilst immediately setting a loction and period for the audience. For this I would leave a Samurai sword placed on the scene. I first had this thought whilst wondering V&A and analysing the stunning helmets the warriors would wear. If I find the sword seems too on the nose when conducting concept art I may change the sword to an item of armour.
