Technical Drawing

This was an extremely challenging task for me as my previous work rarely focused on such precise details.
To begin we laid out the floor plan - for this I traced over the first drawing. For the Floor plan I found it difficult to figure out the angle of each wall. To overcome this I used the tiled bricks to measure a front facing view of the building and figured out the angles of each. This tactic also worked when it came to elevation B-B as I was able to flatten each window to simulate angles.
From Floor plan I used each measurement to align Elevation A-A doing this assured me of my work, knowing that each line matched up. However when it came to Elevation B-B as every measurement was out of sync. It took me a while to realize this was due to a change in ruler, I used a different that day and thus nothing matched. The only option was to redo the Elevation- luckily this was made easier by aligning it with A-A. Once done I realize I mistakenly miss framed the entire page and placed the Elevations too high leaving little room for the title. I was able to work around this and title it with letters 1inch by 1inch. I did this 3 times before finally framing it correctly.
Overall I found his the most challenging aspect of our task, I expect the white card model to be easier as I have experience in this area. I enjoyed learning a new skill and now I have completed it I want to explore it more, in future I see myself working with stop motion so expect these skills to come in useful during these times. I like the final result and look forward to dressing the scene.
