Metal workshop

Although a quick induction we were shown the basics of each machine and what we can use them to achieve. We began by understanding how manipulating wire can be a simple task if tackled correctly. I noticed on my walk in how this technique could be used to create a sign.

I thought this was an interesting concept for a sign, something simple and minimalist.

We looked at welding and spot welding both useful in joining metal. The spot welder seemed a lot quicker and easier so would be better for smaller creations, I see myself using this for creating my scaled down set. The welder just melts the metal together so would be better for larger designs.
